Day Two 2016 Victorian Age Short Course Championships

Day 2 - Saturday 3rd September.

Today was a long day. The day was split between heats in the morning, finishing around 12:30pm and finals at night from 5pm.

13 EDA swimmers swam in the morning heats, again, lots of PBs were achieved. Well done to all swimmers for their individual achievements.

5 swimmers qualified for finals and returned to MSAC for the evening session. This places these swimmers in the top 10 in Victoria in their chosen events. Special congratulations to Florence Elliot winning GOLD in the Girls 16 100 Fly!

Day Three 2016 Victorian Age Short Course Championships

Day 3 - Sunday 4th September. The day started at 7:30am with warm up, competition started at 9:00am. Like Day 2, the day commenced with morning heats, finishing around 12:30pm and finals commenced in the afternoon at 5pm finishing just before 8:30pm. It was an extremely long day for many of our swimmers.

The State Championships commenced on Friday 2nd September at 5pm. Excitement and apprehension fills the indoor pool area. It's straight finals night and 14 EDA swimmers are ready to compete for either a place, (to receive a medal), or try their hardest for a personal best (pb) time.
