Metro West District Championships
The Metro West District Championships are being held over two weekends in February, 18th-19th & 25th-26th.
This is a very important meet for EDA and it's swimmers, and its an exciting way of bringing club members and families together. It is expected all competitive swimmers attend.
The event will run over 2 weekends, held both on Saturday and Sunday.
Briefly, both Saturday afternoon events are the 800m and 1500m freestyle ONLY. Sunday the 19th are the GIRLS AGED events and MEN'S OPEN, Sunday 26th are the BOYS AGED events and WOMEN'S OPEN.
It is important each swimmer enter as many events as they think they can manage, with a minimum of 3 events.
Up for grabs are medals for all age groups from age 6 and under, up to and including age 17, and opens.
Championship trophies will be awarded to swimmers with the highest point score in every age group and open forms. Presentation of trophies occur at the annual Metro West Presentation Night held mid year (information will be sent out closer to the time).
So get those entries in and aim to be the DISTRICT CHAMP for your age group. The more you swim the more points you get!!
